Protection for Your Car

I’ve been looking for car security systems fit for our car.  Our car is not new but I wouldn’t be able to have a peace of mind if I don’t know that my car is safe from robbers.

So what are the security gadgets or devices that can be used by a  car owner?  I learned before that the number that would dissuade would be robbers are steering wheel locks.  Steering wheel locks vary in design but has only one use and that is to lock the steering wheel in place.  The cost of steering wheel locks ranges from inexpensive to expensive.  However, the hassle of putting it in place and dismounting it after might discourage the car owner from using it altogether.

If you don’t like the hassle of steering wheel locks then maybe the kill switches are for you.  Kill switches won’t allow the starter engine to be started.  Furthermore, it will also lock the gas pedal in place.  Kill switches are generally more expensive than steering wheel locks.

As for me, I’m already satisfied with my steering wheel lock so that’s what I’m going to use for now.
