It’s Nice to Have Your Own Home

A house is one of the most important investments a family can make.  I should know because we have spent almost five years renting.  Renting a place not your own is hard.  You have no control over it.  You can’t make any renovations without the landlord’s approval and when you do make some changes you leave it all behind when you move.  Moving can also be tough.  Your children will leave behind the place they call home for a couple of years.  They not only leave the place they called home but they will also leave behind their friends and their school.  That is why I’m glad as early as now we have settled down to our own home.  It might not be a brand new townhouse or a high rise condominium but it’s a place we call our own.  I’m happy we can say goodbye to moving from apartment to apartment.  Truly, it’s nice to have your own home.
