A Trip to the Doctor’s Office
We rushed my youngest to the doctor last week because he was suffering from diarrhea for a few days already. Before we went there, we called several times to make sure that the doctor would be there when we arrived. Since Zach is only 6 months old we didn’t want him to wait for too long so we planned our trip to the doctor carefully.
We were in good spirits even though the doctor wasn’t there when we arrived. We even took a few shots while we were waiting for him. We just assumed he was late due to traffic or because he just came from a hospital or a previous appointment. A few minutes turned to 30 minutes and 30 minutes turned to an hour but still there was no sign of the doctor, only their staff in lab coat who took our information. We asked again and he confirmed that the doctor said he was coming. But alas, the physician didn’t come so we had to head back home. Good thing our baby was not looking sick or else we would have been worried sick.
