New Amp?

My brother-in-law is going back from the States, so its another chance for me to get something for cheap! I find myself again thinking of something to buy. And this year, I think I’m going for the best fender frontman 25r amplifier. It is not too heavy and cheap, making it an easy amp for my brother to carry into the plane. Still I am hoping to get a good tube amp or another acoustic.. will have to make up my mind soon though because time is running out!.

How I got my dream guitar!

The first time I saw this brand of guitar being used by John Mayer, I said to myself that I had to have one. To cut the long story short, after a few years, a music lover that lives abroad became my friend. He was a fervent supporter of local music, which included my own songs. And so when he was going back here for vacation, he asked me if I want to get a guitar for cheap which he would then hand carry for me. I was shocked at finally having the opportunity to get my dream guitar, so I took action and hunted through all the music stores and auction sites until I found what became my first Martin. When he got here, we met up and I got the guitar from him, and it hasn’t disappointed me even once – and it has been my faithful axe ever since.

Zest Air – Manila to Kalibo Delayed!

We started 2013 with a week long vacation at Boracay, although it started out bad, things worked out for the better and the whole experience was relaxing and favorable. The first problem came when we booked our flight with Zest Air months ago, something that we will never do again. We were thinking that the flight will be quick compared to our Bohol trip last year, but we were disappointed to find out that the flight was delayed. We had to wait for more than 3 hours! And the sad part about it is that the Zest Air employees seem to just accept this delay as something normal. I think their manager or their entire company are missing thread inserts in their heads! When asked, they are not fazed or worried about the delay or about their waiting customers, looks like this is how their flights are everyday!

Thankfully NAIA Terminal 4 had a play area for kids, so they were able to take the 3 hour waiting by playing. We got to Boracay 4 hours late, turning our planned afternoon travel time from Kalibo to Katiclan into a boring night drive.
