The New PSP Phone in the Works
The tech site, Engadget, has reported that Sony Ericsson is in the process of making a PSP phone. The PSP phone is going to be a slider phone but instead of a QWERTY keypad it has gaming controls like that of a PSP. Engadget further said that they have, “reason to believe that what we’ve heard and seen is real and coming to market.”
I hope this rumor is true. I would love to get my hands on one.

Olivia O'Neal – The Beauty Queen Stripped of Her Crown Because of Hair Dye
Have you heard about Olivia O’Neil, the 15-year-old beauty queen who was stripped of her crown because of her hair dye.
Well, the story goes like this. Olivia O’Neil won Miss Teen Wanganui about three months ago. She had dyed her hair blond at the time of the pageant. When Facebook photos of her dark brown locks surfaced months after the pageant organizer, Barbara Osborne, wrote, “Is that a wig?” I hope it is, don’t give me heart failure.”
Ms. O’Neil admitted that brown was her natural hair color and she said that if being Miss Teen Wanganui meant she can’t dye her hair then pageant life wasnt for her. To which Ms. Osborne replied, “Well you better decide, miss. Hand over your crown with an attitude like that. I’m sure someone will step into your place with manners.”
Olivia O’Neil did hand over her crown. The pageant’s office did admit that Olivia was stripped of her crown because of her hair dye. “The expectation in holding the crown [was] that she maintain the image she had when she won it,” a spokeswoman said.
Image
All my life I have focused more on skill, knowledge and social interaction. It is good and served it’s purpose but one crucial thing that I missed out on is focusing on my “image”. This is how people perceive me to be. It’s a combination of physical appearance and attitude but mostly it deals with outward appearance and first impressions. As an aspiring musician – I am dealt with the reality of the importance of image and first impression. A lot of times, people give more merit to the supposedly “superficial” aspects and disregard the art and skill. It seems naive and shallow, but I realized that keeping a good image is very hard and is an art in itself. It requires time, effort and money as much as developing skills and talent. People admire looks, attitude and fashion sense above talent! I need to have this aspect at least improved! Moving forward, I will be giving extra effort and focus on my image. I should start by getting my excercise regimen back, maybe get pull up bars, or maybe join a Gym…
Back and Neck Pain
I’m still young but as early as now I’m already experiencing neck and back pain. I think it’s the result of poor posture habit and prolonged sitting down in the office. Upon research I found out that back problems are not so uncommon. In fact, it is one of the most common medical problems. The good news is back pain usually lasts within a few weeks. However, back pain is one of the most frustrating problems to have aside from being the most difficult to treat.
In order to treat back pain you have to go to the root of the problem. Back pains can be a result of muscle strain, ruptured disc, spinal stenosis, arthritis, and even osteoporosis. Although most back pains usually go away on their own in a few days some are serious and would need medical attention. Some would even need to put on back braces to take care of the problem. If your back pain persists beyond a few days, keeps you awake at night, results in fevers or chills then consult your doctor immediately.
On the other hand, if your back pain is not serious usually ice and heat treatment will give you relief from the pain. I usually ask my wife for a massage and the pain would go away. Better yet, take care of your body so that you won’t have to experience back or neck pain in the first place.
Health Insurance Info
Five Ways to Cut your Health Insurance Costs
Nearly one-third of all health-insurance premiums increased to 30 percent or more. At that rate, the average cost of health insurance per employee will exceed $3,000. Seventy-three percent of senior executives believe health-care costs will continue to increase 20 percent or more each year for the next three years. The message here is clear: If you haven’t already gotten serious about cutting your company’s health-insurance costs, now is the time. It can be done. The first thing you should do is learn how the system works–or doesn’t work. Most small employers spend fewer than four hours a year thinking about their company health plans. Learn what your options are. Your insurance agent can help you shop for cheaper plans. But don’t stop there. Compare plan benefits, insurance-company records, and service guarantees.
Consider Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans and HMOs (health-maintenance organizations), even if your agent doesn’t handle them. The Blues in some areas, offer clear advantages to small companies. Experts regard HMOs as the best buys in health care. Find out if your company is eligible for new, low-cost health insurance plans now available in five states. In addition, foundation-funded pilot projects in several parts of the country are demonstrating that it is possible to cut health-coverage costs 30 to 40 percent. In short, health insurance isn’t as simple as it used to be. And the pace of change is accelerating, offering new hope for a truce in the business battle with exploding health-care costs. The next couple of years present as much potential for change as at any time in the past 20 years. You can be part of that change by putting at least some of the following 5 ideas to work for your company.
1) Increase Cost Sharing By Employees
This recommendation is at the top of every consultant’s list. Small companies tend to pay far more of their workers’ total health-care bill than large companies do. Yet research shows that insulating employees from the costs of care encourages unnecessary use of health services. Fifty-two percent of the companies responding to the Nation’s Business health survey said they pay 100 percent of their employees’ health-insurance premiums. But 45 percent said they intended to implement or increase employee contributions to these premiums. An equal number said they plan to increase employee deductibles. Insurance companies first attached $100 deductibles to major-medical plans in the early 1950s. But 40 percent of employers still set deductibles at $100 or less. Raising a $100 deductible to $250 would cut premium costs for single coverage by about 11 percent. A $500 deductible would cut costs by about one-fourth. A $1,000 deductible would save about one-third.
2) Allow Employees To Pay For Health Premiums With Tax-Free Dollars
Set up a so-called flexible spending account, which allows your employees to pay their share of health-insurance premiums and un-reimbursed health-care expenses with pretax dollars. A flexible spending account could save employees 20 cents to 35 cents on the dollar, because state and federal income taxes and Social Security taxes are not imposed.
Moreover, the company saves by reducing the employee’s base salary on which it pays Social Security and other taxes. Hire an outside payroll accounting firm to handle the paperwork. You can pay the service fee and still come out with a net savings. The monthly administration fee would run between $2 and $5 per employee.
3) Transfer High-Risk Employees To The State’s High-Risk Pool
Insurance premiums soar whenever someone in a small-group plan becomes very ill–with cancer or heart disease, for example. As an employer, you should explore the possibility of moving employees with serious health problems into a state high-risk pool and then negotiating a lower premium for the healthy members of your group.
4) Switches To An Open-Enrollment Blue Cross And Blue Shield Plan
Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans operate as de facto high-risk pools in a number of states by providing “open enrollment” periods during which any group can buy insurance. Among the 74 Blue Cross and Blue Shield organizations nationwide, 21 offer open enrollment. All the Blues once used community rating to set premium levels. But that began to change in the 1960s when commercial insurers started to lure away firms with low risks by offering them cheaper health insurance.
5) Replace Your Traditional Health Plan With An HMO
Unlike traditional health insurance, HMOs cover all medical needs, including routine preventive care, for a flat monthly fee that typically is less expensive than traditional health insurance. Moreover, two types of HMOs, the staff and the group models, have proven to be more effective at controlling costs than any other form of health-care delivery. Staff models employ physicians directly and put them on salary.

Blackjack
The game of blackjack is the most popular table game in casinos. It originated in France during the 17th century from a French casino game called Vingt En Un. Vingt En Un means 21, that’s why Blackjack is also called 21. Some also believe it came from other French card games like Chemin de Fer and French Ferme.
Have you ever wondered where the name Blackjack came from? Well, if you’re playing the game you know that if a player got a Jack and Ace of Spades as his first two cards he will be rewarded. Since black is the color of Spades thus the name, Blackjack.
Before playing online blackjack or in a casino you have to familiarize yourself with the basic rules. A blackjack player will compete with the dealer only and not against another casino player. The goal is to draw cards until the cards you have adds up to 21. You can draw close to 21 but your cards should never go over 21. The one with the closest number to 21 wins. What if your first two cards total 21? That means you’ve been dealt a blackjack.
Cards with face or face cards like kings, queen, and jacks are valued as 10. Ace is counted as 11. The dealer will deal two cards to you after you place your wager and then deals himself two cards. One is dealt face up while the other is dealt face down. If the dealer’s first two cards total 16 or less he has no choice but deal another card, if the total is 17 or up then he has to make a stand. In the middle of the game, you have the option to double down if you think that your cards are favorable. If you choose to double down you can double your wager. However, you have to deal one last card after that.
If the dealer deals a blackjack then you lose all of your wager. However, if you’ are the one who has a blackjack then you will win 100% of your bet plus 50% more. In short, you will win a total of 150% of your bet.
Since blackjack is extremely popular you’ll find tables at casinos mostly full. If you hate crowded tables then playing online is for you. There are many online casinos offering blackjack so be sure to research first on reliable websites before playing on one. Aside from reliable in payout, you should also choose an online casino that has great customer support. Read reviews on different casinos before making your choice.
How to Grow Your Coaching Practice on the Internet
While living in Ukraine, music was Milana Leshinsky’s life. But when she moved to the United States in 1992 and discovered the world of Internet marketing, Milana started singing to a different tune. By launching an Internet-based venture, she reinvented herself as a successful entrepreneur, author, and advisor to life and business coaches.
That is why Milana is featured, along with other successful, self-employed entrepreneurs, in a new book, “The Official Get Rich Guide to Information Marketing on the Internet” by Robert Skrob and Bob Regnerus. The book, out in September 2008, is the sequel to last year’s “The Official Get Rich Guide to Information Marketing.” Milana’s transition from music to an Internet info-marketer began when she started doing web design for an insurance company and a newspaper. But it was only after Milana was hired by coaches to develop their websites that the budding entrepreneur started to hit high notes.
“At first, I didn’t even know what a ‘coach’ was,” Milana admits. “But after a third time a coach came to me for a website, I took notice and started to investigate this industry.” Milana started a membership site for coaches using all the materials she gathered during her research and her business took off. “One of the clients who hired me to do a website was a coach who asked me to be part of her team,” Milana recalls. “Later, I wrote an e-book, “How to Grow your Coaching Practice on the Internet” and she wrote the foreword for it.
Her partnership gave me a lot of credibility.” Milana’s “doorway into the industry,” however, was a website called Tele-Class.com by the late Thomas Leonard, a key player in the field of personal and business coaching. Milana advertised monthly tele-seminars on this site, eventually creating a membership site and a program called “7Habits of Most Successful Coaches.” “I noticed that successful coaches had products, names for themselves, processes and follow-up sequences,” Milana says.
“So I gathered all of these factors into a program and I coached people who had sites that didn’t generate business. I critiqued the site and worked with the clients to create content to rework it.” Milana had clearly found her niche but, she says, she needed a “breakthrough” to get to the next level of her business. She found it during a mastermind session, “Infopreneur’s Think Tank,” with Sterling Valentine, which led her to telephone based, multi-day events called “tele-summits.” This was the win-win solution not only for Milana, who didn’t like to attend live conferences, but also for her clients, because they had an opportunity to participate in training programs without having to spend time and money to travel.
“With Sterling, I created a global event for coaches,” Milana says. “Before, the word ‘tele-summit’ didn’t even exist, so that was my big break.” How big? Milana’s first eight-day tele-summit netted $60,000 – with more to come. “That was huge for me, but the chain reaction happened afterwards,” she reports. However, that chain reaction resulted in Milana’s site being flooded with too many products, so it was hard to market. In fact, websites cluttered with too many graphics and too much useless information are counterproductive, Skrob notes.
“The more choices you put in front of people, the longer it will take them to make a decision and the less likely they are to be happy with the choice they make. When the number of options gets overwhelming, people often respond by making no decision at all.” So Milana hired a consultant who suggested folding all her products into one – a home study course called Coaching Millions, based on her book, “Coaching Millions Business Building System.” The other part of Milana’s venture is her “Coaching Business Mastery,” which includes a home study course and an implementation program. A streamlined landing or opt-in page was essential to Milana’s continued success.
“These pages are the best way to welcome potential customers to your website, and they allow you to establish the right type of relationship with your visitors,” Skrob says. “An effective, well-written landing page builds trust and establishes your credibility. The more visitors you convince to opt in, the more sales you’ll make.”
