Furniture Business

After only a few months of establishing the online website for the furniture store of my wife’s father, they are now reaping the benefits – twice the customer and even more inquiries, calls and store visits. The move to advertise and to setup a working website was so successful, they are already thinking of expanding! I even recommended that we try out other online selling opportunities, maybe products that compliments furniture like the table skirting from premier table linens. For now we are thankful to God for this grace and favor to this business and he hope and pray that He blesses it daily!

Vow Renewal

My wife and I have been together for more than a decade now, and its funny to think how time quickly flies by. We jokingly talked about celebrating our marriage by having a vow renewal celebration. We thought of which church to do it and imagined the new diamond ring that we will be putting on each other’s hand. For now, work, house construction and learning the ropes of furniture business is keeping us too busy to seriously plan for this celebration. But in the near future, I want to surprise her by pushing for it without her approval.

Office Life?

Now that I’ve been working from home for more than a year, there are times when I look back at my life as an office worker. The worst part for me really is the daily drive to work, the city’s traffic combined with car maintenance issues was more than enough to make me dread work.

My previous work as a manager was quite fun, my favorite part of it is coaching and dealing with my people. It could have been better if we had automated reporting like InetSoft’s reporting product. Still I will trade all of it again for the chance to work at home, beside my loved ones, there’s simply no contest.
